How Does IPL Work?
It’s a safe, non-invasive way to reduce unwanted hair

The device gives off gentle pulses of light that are attracted to the pigment in your hair.
Heat disables the hair follicle – the light turns into heat, which travels down to the hair root. This slows down or stops the hair from growing back.
Gradual results – because your hair grows in cycles, only some hairs respond each session. That’s why a series of treatments is needed for best results.
What To Expect
During treatment: You’ll feel a quick, warm snap (like a tiny rubber band). A cooling gel will be applied to the skin which helps keep your skin comfortable.

After treatment: The area may be a little pink or warm, but this usually fades within a few hours.

Long-term: Over time, hair becomes finer, lighter, and much less noticeable and potentially no further hair growth in the treated area.
Am I Suitable For Treatment?
Light to medium skin tones and dark hair is the perfect combination for IPL treatment. The contrast helps the light energy find and target the hair follicle.

If you have a dark skin tone or blonde/ginger/grey hair, this treatment will not be suitable as the laser will not be able to target the hair follicle.

There are some medications and conditions that would not allow treatment. We will perform a consultation beforehand to ensure you are suitable for treatment.
