The Treatment
AlumierMD chemical peels are hyper-customised to suit your individual skin type and concerns. Before your peel, your skin will be carefully assessed at a consultation appointment to determine the ideal treatment plan for your skincare needs.

Your treatment plan can vary from gentle exfoliation for light rejuvenation to an intensive treatment.
Enhancement masks (such as an aqua infusion or clay mask) and a targeted booster may also be chosen to complement your peel and maximise results, ensuring you leave with a refreshed, balanced, and radiant complexion that’s uniquely tailored to you.

After every peel treatment, you receive a post-procedure kit containing 3 lovely AlumierMD products, a cleanser, recovery balm & SPF, to use for the following 5-7 days.

The Consultation
We require you to attend an initial consultation before you start your peel journey. This allows us to analyse your skin and create a custom treatment plan.

Cleanse | We will use a treatment AlumierMD cleanser to perform a cleanse.
​
Skin Analyser | We will then use the advanced skin analyser machine to take in-depth photos of your skin, so we can see exactly what your skin requires and if there are any concerns that flag up you were unaware of (such as inflammation).
Discussion | We will discuss the results of the skin analyser to explain what concerns we can see and how we intend to tailor your skin peel plan to suit you.
Mask | We then apply a suitable AlumierMD mask to your skin to target some of the skincare concerns previously discussed.
Treatment Plan & Prescription | Once the mask is applied, we will sign you up to our AlumierMD Connect site (if you wish), where you can log-in and see the recommended homecare skincare products we suggest for your skin and explain the peel process for your next appointment
Take-Home Kit | Once the mask has been taken off and you are happy with the peel treatment plan, you receive a kit of AlumierMD products to take home and use for the next 5-7 days (cleanser, recovery balm & SPF). These products are perfect for prepping your skin for the peel treatment.

What Does it Feel Like?
An AlumierMD professional peel treatment is designed to gently but effectively exfoliate your skin, improving tone, texture, and clarity.
In most cases you may feel tingling, itching or warmth as the peel penetrates through the skin layer. Some people may feel light stinging or tightness (usually with stronger peels). This is completely normal and your therapist will be monitoring closely to ensure you do not feel any discomfort.

Are Peels Right for You?

The initial consultation will help your therapist determine which peel solution would be suitable for you and what masks and boosters will compliment to maximise benefits.

What Happens After My Peel?
Your skin may feel tight and warm directly afterwards but this should calm down within a few hours.

There could be light - moderate flaking or peeling for a few days following your peel.
​
You will be given a post-treatment kit after your peel containing a full skincare routine to use for the next 5-7 days.
​
Once your treatment is complete, you will be sent a post-procedure email, detailing everything you need to know.
